February & March Valuation Days in Stafford

In February and March 2023, Leighton Hall Auctions are holding Valuation and Consignment Days at Oddfellows, Stafford, in Staffordshire between 10AM and 2PM. At our Valuation Days, one of our valuers will take a look at any items you wish to show and give free no-obligation auction valuations and advice for your possessions. If you were interested in selling your items in one of our fully illustrated auctions, you can also consign your items on the same day. In some instances, our valuer may take notes and pictures of your items so they can conduct further research into an item and then will follow up by contacting you with a valuation at a later date when we have had chance to consult our team of expert valuers.

The dates are as follows:

Thursday 16th February 2023 10am - 2pm (no appointment necessary).

March 2023 10am - 2pm (no appointment necessary).

We can value and assist with the sale of single items or whole collections and complete house contents. We can value pottery such as Royal Doulton, Beswick and Moorcroft, jewellery, gold and silver, militaria and military items, advertising items, enamel signs, furniture and much more.

The address for the Valuation Day is as follows:

Oddfellows Hall,

17 Greengate Street,

Stafford,

ST16 2HP.

There is no need to book an appointment for the Valuation Days and it is absolutely free of charge to have your items appraised for auction by one of the valuers present. Please note, you may have to experience a short waiting time to see one of our valuers if it is particularly busy.

If you were happy with the valuations, you can consign your items to the appropriate auction on the day where you will be given a written receipt from our representative.

Our Selling Charges

We charge 15% + VAT Sellers' Commission on the hammer price of the item (18% VAT Inclusive).

We also charge an entry fee of £2 + VAT per lot (£2.40 with VAT) that is entered in the auction regardless of whether the item is sold or not.

The above terms are negotiable for large or high value consignments.

There are no further fees payable! We don't charge photography fees, insurance fees, storage fees or any other form of fee as some auction houses do. We strive to provide a high value service for our vendors as we appreciate your custom!
